RCMP have arrested one of two people who were still at large and considered suspects in the death of a 28 - year - old mother of four whose body was found near 14 in connection with the December 2019 death of Sheena Billette . Police reported Jan. 20 that Ratt was in custody, and Charles still at large.

A 25-year-old who had been on the run is now in police custody and facing a first-degree murder charge in the death of a 28-year-old mother of four whose body was found near La Ronge.

Charlie Napthalie Charles was found Tuesday at a home in Prince Albert and arrested by P.A. police, according to Saskatchewan RCMP on Wednesday. Charles is also charged with kidnapping and forcible confinement in the death of Sheena Marie Billette.

Harrisburg police have made an arrest in a Berryhill Street shooting that left 22- year - old Kevin Royster dead Friday night. Police said they arrested Julius Carter said Allen, who was awaiting arraignment at this writing, surrendered to officers without further incident when they made contact with him.

Charles is scheduled to appear Thursday in La Ronge provincial court.

Billette’s body was spotted on Dec. 23 by a driver on Highway 102 , about eight kilometres north of La Ronge.

Deborah Maggie Mckenzie, 30, Telsa Jane Mckenzie, 24 and Sharise Justice Sutherland-Kayseas, 24, were arrested Jan. 13 in La Ronge on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement in connection with Billette’s death . Kandi Rose Ratt, 27, was arrested in Christopher Lake days later and charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Billette’s sister-in-law Jasmine Slinn started a GoFundMe campaign to help with future expenses for Billette’s husband Jarvis Slinn, and the couple’s four children, ages 11, five, three and 18 months.

“I think counselling is a major thing, because all of them are very traumatized (by) the event,” Jasmine said last month in an interview.

Man charged with first-degree murder in three separate Regina homicides .
A 25-year-old Regina man has been charged in connection with three different homicides in the city dating back to November 2019. Regina police announced Thursday that Dillon Ricky Whitehawk has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Keesha Cree Bitternose, the city’s first homicide victim of 2020. He has also been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jordan Gaiton Denton, the city’s eighth homicide victim of 2019, and first-degree murder in the death of Keenan Scott Toto, the city’s ninth homicide victim of 2019.
