Las Vegas may be coming alive this weekend, with almost two dozen casinos reopening — but it’s still a waiting game at Caesars Windsor.

The Windsor-Essex region’s biggest gaming and entertainment centre continues to work on its reopening plans, pledging collaboration with the OLG, the AGCO, and Unifor Local 444.

But the provincial government has yet to announce any date when such facilities can welcome customers again.

In the meantime, Caesars Windsor director of advertising Scott Jenkins said construction crews have resumed renovation work, as permitted under the Ontario government’s Stage 1 reopening plan.
