  Man charged with attempted murder after three injured in Regina home A man has been charged with attempted murder after three people were injured in an apparent assault in a Regina home. Police responded to a home in North Regina on Saturday morning after someone reported a weapons offence and told police “there was a male in the residence who was hurting everyone, and could not be controlled,” according to a police release. Police and EMS were on scene. Several people were inside the home and three people had been injured in an apparent assault. A man was taken to hospital by EMS with a serious injury, where he remains in serious condition. The male suspect was located inside the home and arrested.

A cyclist from Oakville, Ont., was charged on Monday morning after allegedly riding on Highway 401 near Port Hope.

According to Northumberland OPP, around 10:20 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a bicyclist riding in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 just east of Wesleyville Road.

OPP say the 21-year-old cyclist was escorted off the highway. He was subsequently charged under the Highway Traffic Act with riding a bicycle on a controlled-access highway.

No name was released.

OPP advise all cyclists to ensure they know the rules of the road and safety by visiting the provincial Ministry of Transportation's website.

2 men charged with drug trafficking in Belleville .
Two men — one from Toronto and one from Ajax — were arrested in Belleville, Ont., on Monday and charged with one count each of drug trafficking.At approximately 10:30 a.m., Belleville police received calls about two vehicles at homes in the West Park area reportedly causing issues with residents.
