WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Two teenagers and a 22-year-old man have been charged with hacking the Twitter accounts of prominent figures including former US President Barack Obama, billionaire Bill Gates and Tesla boss Elon Musk, the US Department of Justice said on Friday.

Mason Sheppard, a 19-year-old Briton surnamed Chaewon, has been charged with carrying out hacking and crimes related to fraud and money laundering, the department said in a statement.
