In India, a wave of adulterated alcohol poisoning is underway in the state of Punjab, where at least 86 people have already been killed. Police carry out major raids and arrests in an attempt to limit the tragedy.

This Sunday morning, August 2, victims continued to flow into Indian hospitals in the Punjab. Almost 100 people have died this week consuming adulterated alcohol in this northwestern state of India . Most died in the small town of Tarn Taran, but several deaths also took place in Amritsar, the largest city in Punjab.
