A powerful explosion shook a building ofon the outskirts of a village in the south of on Tuesday, causing thick swirls of black smoke, indicated to the corroborating sources.
A resident of the village of Aïn Qana spoke of a house acting as a "center of Hezbollah", specifying that members of the armed Shiite movement had cordoned off the area.
"The whole village was shaken," he said, reporting property damage in the area of the blast.
An AFP photographer noted that a security cordon had been erected by members of Hezbollah.
According to "preliminary information" from military sources, this is a "Hezbollah site" where "ammunition was located".

Hezbollah has yet to officially comment on the incident while an IDF spokesman told AFP "not to comment on foreign media reports."
In southern Lebanon, Hezbollah's bastion, limited clashes have pitted the Shiite movement against neighboring Israel on the border in recent months.
Heavyweight in political life, represented in the Lebanese government and parliament, Hezbollah is militarily engaged alongside the regime ofin the conflict in Syria, where it is regularly the target of Israeli strikes.
