(illustrative image) A mission of independent international experts began an audit of the electoral roll on Tuesday (October 13th). Deployed by the International Organization of La Francophonie, the team of experts will work with other experts recognized by the African Union, the EU and the United Nations system.

A Burkina Faso LLC must appoint an auditor to submit financial statements and an audit must be submitted every year; The Burkina Faso LLC must maintain its books of accounts in French at its registered office in Burkina Faso according to the OHADA laws.

"It is a quality file, which was produced under very difficult conditions, which is reliable and therefore allows elections to be carried out with confidence."

According to Minaté Samaté, the Commissioner for Political Affairs of the African Union, this audit is an important contribution to the holding of peaceful elections next November.
