Harmonized at European level

But today, the time change is questioned . It would have harmful effects on the body and energy savings are not as important as 45 years ago. In 2019, MEPs therefore voted on a draft directive which provides for the abolition of the seasonal time change from 2021. The ball is now in the court of the Member States.
