Canada Heyer is the face of the unpredictable HSV
Kickers coach Gehrmann "does the Bielsa" - and applies for the fair play prize of the year!
FAIRPLAY! So - capitalized! And how it is implemented. The spectators present at the fifth division game between the Stuttgarter Kickers and FC Nöttingen were given visual lessons on this important and always topical topic (not only in sports!). We say: really, really great sport.
How does Hamburger SV play? Coach Daniel Thioune wants to make the answer to this question more difficult for the opponent. The personified unpredictability is called Moritz Heyer.
Prior to the season, HSV had committed itself to orderly chaos: With changed basic regulations and personnel troubles, the Hamburgers do not want to be calculated and make the preparation of the opponent more difficult. Said and done. 4-2-1-3 (twice), 4-1-3-2, 3-1-2-1-3 and 4-3-3 was previously the mess of numbers in the basic tactical order of the Hanseatic League. A recipe for success: after five games, the second division leader is still without any point loss (5/0/0, 13: 5 goals).

But only for a few more days
"There is a great openness to get involved in the changes and match plans", says coach Thioune with satisfaction. "We want to be dynamic in our system. The team has to adapt and grow." The flexibility even goes so far that HSV swaps cheerfully even during a game. "We can't always decide how a game goes, we also have to adapt to the opponent. The breadth of the squad gives that," explains Thioune.
Heyer here, tomorrow there

The personified polyvalence is defensive player Moritz Heyer, whom Thioune brought from Osnabrück. The 25-year-old is actually a central defender, but was used in three positions on the last three match days: left, inside and on the six.
"Moritz has known me a little longer." - Daniel Thioune
"Moritz has known me a little longer", says Thioune with a mischievous smile and then gets serious again: "Changes of position are deliberately wanted." And also benevolently noted in the sporting leadership of the Hamburgers. "The variability demanded and practiced by the coach makes it more difficult for us to calculate," attests sporting director Michael Mutzel. "That the guys can implement it is a quality."
"Chaos" also in the city derby?
That should succeed again in the prestigious city duel against FC St. Pauli on Friday evening. Especially since with the returnees Jeremy Dudziak and Amadou Onana additional options are available. So how will HSV play?

OTTAWA — Protectionism is rearing its head again in the United States, leaving the Trudeau minority government to figure out ways to work with an unpredictable neighbour. History has a funny way of repeating itself. It’s a scenario Canada found itself in during the early 1970s. Liberal prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau was in charge at the time when his U.S. counterpart, president Richard Nixon, turned his country inward to protect domestic industries during the last stretch of the Vietnam War.
