LONDON (Reuters) - The United Kingdom on Monday recorded 15,450 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus for a total of 40,504 cases recorded in the last seven days, a decrease of 23% compared to the previous corresponding period.
UK authorities also reported 206 additional coronavirus-related deaths in 24 hours and a total of 3,084 deaths over seven days, an increase of 6% for this period.
