The Prime Minister has started the consultations which will lead to the formation of the first government of the post alliance era FCC-Cach. Political groups, socio-professional organizations and civil society will be received by the Prime Minister. The task will not be easy for Sama Lukonde who must consult, among other things, the 24 political groups that make up the Sacred Union, the new platform of Felix Tshisekedi.

  U.S. to supply Canada's AstraZeneca vaccines, Liberals say, after indications they would come from India Speaking to reporters outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada has received an updated delivery schedule from Pfizer that confirms the country will receive the four million COVID-19 vaccine doses promised by the end of March.

The leaders of political parties, deputies and senators were invited by the Prime Minister. To each of the delegations, Sama Lukonde presented the process which will lead to the formation of the new government.

He outlined the main axes of his program which revolve in particular around securing the eastern part of the country and the fight against poverty.

He also presented the criteria to be part of this team: morality, integrity, competence, experience and a clean criminal record, are among the requirements of the new Prime Minister. He also announced to the heads of political groups that the future ministers, once appointed, will sign a code of ethics.

The political forces that make up the new majority are also called upon to present three candidates for each ministerial portfolio, taking into account the representativeness of vulnerable people, women and young people.

On Monday, the Prime Minister notably met Bahati Lukwebo’s AFDC-A.

These consultations will continue until next Saturday.
