Hickey on hockey: Evans line is outlier on first Canadiens report card

Hickey on hockey: Evans line is outlier on first Canadiens report card The Canadiens are one-quarter of the way through what is destined to become a short season that seems like a long season. It’s a tradition at this point of the season to offer a report card. A few seasons back, we decided the scrap the A to F grading system in favour of a more progressive approach. If you’re in school or have kids, you might be familiar with the practice of measuring performance with phrases like exceeding expectations, meeting expectations or needs improvement. Suffice to say, nobody on this team is exceeding expectations, with the possible exception of the Jake Evans line.

This will not be recovered on Monday, December 6th in the Faculties of Medicine of Ndjamena. On strike since November 10, students of medical schools have tried to demonstrate last Thursday to claim the payment of more than two and a half years of scholarship arrears and the improvement of their conditions of study. A manifestation violently repressed by the police.

Some students are still in detention. Protestable delegates require unconditional release and arrears adjustment before any resumption of courses.

'I definitely feel cheated': Former students suing deceased Calgary teacher, board

'I definitely feel cheated': Former students suing deceased Calgary teacher, board CALGARY — A proposed class-action lawsuit has been filed by threeformer students of a Calgary junior high school alleging sexual misconduct by a teacher who died earlier this year. The statement of claim names the estate of Michael Gregory, who worked at John Ware Junior High School for 20 years, as well as the Calgary Board of Education. Gregory was charged in February with 17 counts of sexual assault and sexual exploitation. At the time, police said several former students had come forward with accusations against the teacher. A few days later, police said Gregory had died and his death was not believed to be criminal.

ADOUMBAYE SYLVAIN is one of the delegates. At the microphone of our correspondent in Ndjamena, Madjiasra Nako , he returns to the violent repression of the manifestation by the police: "last Thursday ... We have been violent within our faculty, like savages , just because we are calling for what comes back to us. Police officers forced the main entrance to the Faculty. 59 of our colleagues were arrested, 54 are released and five are held so far at Klessoum's home.

ADOUMBAYE Sylvain wants its five comrades to be released and calls the authorities to shed light on the actions of the police: "We require the unconditional liberation of our five colleagues and the payment of our 33 months of trading arrears. We also require that a judicial investigation be open, in order to repress police officers, guilty of acts of human rights violations during the event.

We will not be responsible for future actions, if the release of our five colleagues and the payment of our arrears drag ".
