At the border between art and science, the first African work for space was unveiled on Friday, April 8, in Paris. This work - or more exactly its reproduction for technical reasons - will fly to thousands of kilometers above our heads, at the end of the year.

The work will be driven by the Ariane V rocket that will transport a weather satellite for Africa. RFI attended the unveiling of "Memory of Today, Memory of the Future", the title of the work.

Send this rocket that will be decorated with this work in space, it is also a form of reconnection between space and earth. "
