Mathieu Bilodeau, 33, was arrested last September, one month after a vehicle belonging to Mohamed Labidi was set on fire in his driveway. Bilodeau also pleaded guilty in Quebec Court to setting three other criminal fires, said Jean-Pascal Boucher, spokesperson for the Crown prosecutor’s office. Sentencing arguments will be heard on Feb. 23.

Labidi is president of the centre where six men were shot and killed in January 2017 after evening prayers.
