Whatever Michael Avenatti Has On Nike, No One Really Cares
Michael Avenatti wanted money, it appears. Maybe he thought he needed it. That much is clear from the two sets of federal charging documents filed against him yesterday, one in New York and another in California. In the California case, a 197-page document outlines how authorities believe Avenatti misrepresented tax returns to receive a loan from a Mississippi bank and also kept for himself a $1.6 million settlement that was supposed to go to a client. In the latter case, according to the complaint, Avenatti took the money, then made a fake document telling his client that the money was coming in March, and failed to pay up when March rolled around.

There is speculation that the actor will likely strike a plea deal, but that would still come with four days of jail time attached. Michael would certainly hope that the judge would let him off for time served.

After being convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault last year, Cosby, now 81, is serving a three- to 10-year prison sentence in Pennsylvania while appealing the conviction and sentence.
The veteran actor was. In that case, Michael reportedly had a 0.21 blood alcohol level, which is nearly three times the legal limit of .08. At the time, his lawyer said the BAC test was compromised by prescription medication Michael was on.
