The Bachelor's Colton Underwood Says He'll Propose to Cassie Randolph Within the Next Year Colton Underwood Will Propose to Cassie Randolph Within the Next Year Looks like the next Bachelor engagement is around the corner. Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph bucked the franchise’s tradition when they decided to give their relationship a chance without getting engaged by the end of his season — but now, a ring is definitely in their near future. Carrie Underwood, who has won video of the year a record six times at the CMT Music Awards, could be headed for her seventh win in that category with "Cry Pretty." But she faces strong competition. Keith Urban, who is a three-time winner in that category, is also a semifinalist with "Coming Home" (featuring Julia Michaels) at the 2019 show. (The final nominees will be announced the morning of the show, which is set for June 5. Final voting will be held on social media during the live telecast.)

Other semifinalists include Chris Janson's "Drunk Girl," which won video of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 7; Dierks Bentley's "Burning Man" (featuring Brothers Osborne); and Eric Church's "Desperate Man." Bentley and Brothers Osborne have won video of the year at both the ACM Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Bentley scored with "Drunk on a Plane" (2014); Brothers Osborne with "It Ain't My Fault" (2017). Church's "Mr. Misunderstood" took the 2015 ACM Award for video of the year.

Hank Williams Jr. is a runner-up at both of those shows, with three wins at each show. VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Re-Emerges as Security Guard at Billboard Music Awards

VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Re-Emerges as Security Guard at Billboard Music Awards New England Patriots are sitting at home following the NFL Draft asking themselves, "what is Rob Gronkowski doing now?" Well, if you caught the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday night, you caught the recently retired NFL tight end working his first post-football job. The man they call Gronk appeared in a full security guard outfit, chasing out singer Kelly Clarkson, who was sitting in a seat reserved for country band Florida Georgia Line. And so begins the acting career of @RobGronkowskipic.twitter.

The CMT Music Awards evolved, in a rather circuitous way, from the Music City News Awards, which dates back to 1967. The show first aired on CMT in 2001, as the TNN & CMT Country Weekly Music Awards. It has aired exclusively on CMT since 2002. From 2002 to 2004, the show was known as the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards. The name was (mercifully) shortened to the CMT Music Awards in 2005.
