Halsey dedicated a portion of her U.K. concert to the two women who were beaten on a train for being gay.

The “Nightmare” singer shared a powerful statement to concertgoers on Monday night in London while wearing a t-shirt with the photo of the women on the front with the caption “F*ck your straight pride” on the back.

Halsey, who associates as a bisexual woman, delivered a heartfelt speech supporting the LGBTQ community and got everyone in the audience to chant, “I will not be afraid.”

Speaking about Pride Month, she stated, “When the glitter is being swept out of the streets, a lot of people get on those trains and they get on those buses, and they try to wash the rainbows off their bodies and they peel the stickers off their clothes, because when Pride is over, it’s not safe to be gay anymore.”

Halsey just slammed " Straight Pride " and paid homage to a lesbian couple who were victims of a recent homophobic attack. It's no secret that Halsey Last night, Halsey stunned fans with a powerful speech about " Straight Pride " at her Electric Ballroom concert in London and fan, @iamsuckeriam

Halsey also added that when people get on the topic of straight parades, the reason why we don’t have them is simple.

“When people around the world ask the question, ‘Why isn’t there a straight pride parade?’” she said. “The answer is because if there was one, you wouldn’t have to get on the bus and be terrified of getting f**king beaten or killed…every f**king day on public transport is a straight pride parade.”

Holding proudly a rainbow-colored flag thrown to her by an audience member, Halsey continued, “If you are in this crowd and you are queer, you need to make a promise to me,” adding, “You need to promise me that you will not be afraid. Say it with me, ‘I will not be afraid!’”

That’s when the crowd erupted into a chant.

The couple on Halsey’s shirt is Melania Geyamont and her girlfriend Chris. Five men have been arrested in association with the attack, which the women claim happened after they refused to kiss each other.
