The star recently revealed what the plot of the long-awaited film is, stating that the duo were "supposed to write the song that was supposed to unite the world and bring peace and everything, but they haven't.

But then the future comes to them and says you have to save the universe and you have to write the song in like 80 minutes."

As well as Keanu and Alex Winter, the film has cast Glee star Jayma Mays as Bill's wife, Princess Joanna.
