Laura Marling will prematurely release her new album 'Song For Our Daughter' in order to spread a "we-feeling" during the fight against the corona virus.

The 30-year-old songwriter will release her LP on April 10th - the record shouldn't have been released until summer.

The talented British woman revealed that her new music was very personal and said on her social media platforms: "My new album 'Song For Our Daughter' is coming out earlier than planned this week. Because of the changed circumstances we all saw I have no reason not to publish something that can at least entertain and at best exude a sense of belonging. It is so strange to see how the facade of our everyday life dissolves and only the essential remains: the people who we love and our concern for them. " Laura had already given a foretaste of the new music with the record's 'Held Down' title single. Because of the pandemic, all dates for the artist's tour for 2020 have been moved to a later date. The 'Wild Fire' interpreter's shows as part of her 'Laura Marling Solo' tour were supposed to start on May 22nd in Manchester.

2017 had told Laura that she stopped the music briefly to become a yoga teacher.
