Rihanna helped his father to maintain morale and health after learning that he had tested positive for COVID -19. Ronald Fenty told the British newspaper The Sun that he fell very ill after contracting the potentially deadly virus, and added that he could thank his daughter for her recovery.
"My daughter, Robyn (editor's note: Rihanna's real first name) was hearing from me every day," he said. I thought I was going to die, to be honest. She has done so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.
The 66-year-old man revealed that his famous daughter even bought him a respirator which she had sent to Barbados, but that his health never deteriorated enough for him to use it . "I had a fever in my nose," he said. I had a fever in my lips. I just had a lot of fever. I feared the worst.
According to the tabloid, Ronald Fenty spent 14 days at the island's Paragon Isolation Center.
