  ‘Space Force’, ‘Never Have I Ever’ Bring In Big Viewing Numbers For Netflix One business that has been booming during the COVID-19 pandemic is streaming platforms, and Netflix remains at the top of the heap. According to a report in Variety, some of the series’ recent offerings have brought in big viewing numbers, with 40 million households tuning in to watch Mindy Kaling’s “Never Have I Ever” and Steve Carell starrer “Space Force” in their first four weeks of release. Netflix shared the numbers while reporting its second-quarter earnings, which also revealed that the sexy dating show “Too Hot to Handle” was viewed by 51 million households, while wacky game show “Floor Is Lava” was seen by 37 million households.

"CSI" is coming back to TV and it's bringing along some familiar faces.

According to Deadline, original series stars William Petersen and Jorja Fox are in negotiations to star in the event series revival, titled "CSI: Vegas".

Petersen and Fox played fan-favourite couple Grissom and Sara. The two capped off their romantic storyline by sailing into the sunset in the show's two-hour series finale.

Original series creator Anthony Zuiker is in talks along with executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer and the show’s creative team. The original cast consisted of William Petersen , Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Gary Dourdan, Jorja Fox , Paul Guilfoyle, Robert David Hall, and Eric Szmanda.

Along with the returning stars, the new series is set to feature four brand new main characters, three of whom are expected to be actors of colour.

The original show, about a team of forensic crime scene investigators, premiered in 2000, running for 15 seasons and spawning the spin-offs "CSI: Miami", "CSI: NY" and "CSI: Cyber".

"CSI: Vegas" was originally intended to air in time for the show's 20th anniversary in October, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming is eyed to kick off this fall.

While the event is still based in Charlotte, most of the speakers at the RNC will be piped in remotely, as was the case with the Democrats last week.
