Artists including Cardi B, Kesha, and more want you to make sure you are ready for the Nov. 3 presidential election.And what better time than now, with National Voter Registration Day (Sept. 22) as a nudge to get you to register to do your civic duty and have your voice be counted? To date, more than three million voters have registered on this day — one where volunteers and organizations across the country fan out to make sure citizens are aware of how to register to vote in the crucial Nov. 3, 2020, presidential election.

Her performance was a part of former first lady Michelle Obama’s day-long “, where Obama also invited , , , and more to her star-studded lineup.
“So I’m gonna do a song today for National Voter Registration Day on behalf of Michelle Obama. Hope you guys enjoy!” the R&B singer said before crooning and strumming her guitar right into “I Can’t Breathe.”

Friday night’s (Oct. 2) The Vote Ready Festival — a partnership between Atlantic Records and Headcount — will feature Ava Max, JoJo, Why Don’t We, All Time Low, Fitz & the Tantrums, Jack Harlow and many more. The one night only, three-hour special, the latest in LiveXLive’s Friday night franchise livestream festival series, will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET with at-home performances from Electric Guest, Flor, Grandson, Jax Andreson, Jxdn, Larkin Poe, Milck, MisterWives, Pink Sweat$, Portugal. The Man and more. All the acts will be supporting HeadCount’s mission to register Americans to vote and to get out and vote in the Nov.
“Every vote matters, and every vote counts. So make sure you vote,” she advised at the tail-end of the song, keeping the same dulcet tone so much so it sounded like a freestyle.
