During this season of "America's Got Talent", Archie Williams has been adept at choosing songs that speak to his unique experience of being imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, released after serving 36 years when evidence emerged that cleared him.

For his "AGT" finals performance, Williams selected a powerful song to cover: The Beatles' "Blackbird".

The performance was an emotional one, particularly when Williams' sang the lyrics "take these broken wings and learn to fly."

The judges were moved, with Sofia Vergara telling Williams that this performance was his best of the season, while Heidi Klum said that he'd earned a special place in her heart.

Viewers will find out which act is selected this season's champion when the "America's Got Talent" finale airs on Wednesday night.

Fatone took part in "Dancing with the Stars – The Tour", returned for "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" (eliminated second), and was a guest judge on "Boy Band and Girl Group" night in 2019.

Carter and Burgess meanwhile placed as runners-up. However, the musician, actor and filmmaker still relished every minute on the dancefloor and wouldn’t have it “Any Other Way” when it comes to having joined the series. “Truthfully, this whole ‘Dancing with the Stars’ experience has been surprisingly so much fun,” he told us at the time. “I didn’t realise who my partner was, how great she would be and how great it is to perform with another person – just two people. The whole experience, I’m cherishing.” Carter returned to the show to be a guest judge on 2017’s Boy Bands vs Girl Groups night.

Partnered with Murgatroyd, the singer did manage to “heat it up” on the dance floor, but he faced stiff competition from none other than his wife Vanessa Lachey, who competed in the same season with dance pro, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Nick was eliminated fifth, while Vanessa lasted one extra week.

    "Dancing with the Stars" is the American version of U.K. series "Strictly Come Dancing", which has also featured a number of boy-banders. During the show’s 10th season, in 2012, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne was “flying without wings” across the ballroom as he and dance partner Karen Hauer took on celebrities like Jerry Hall. The two narrowly missed out on the semifinals, placing sixth. “I remember always looking at the contestants and seeing the fear in their eyes and thinking, ‘This has a real buzz and excitement about it,’” he told Mark Meets about agreeing to the competition. “So, when Westlife ended and I was thinking about what I was going to do next, I jumped at the chance to do 'Strictly'.” Byrne continued showcasing his dance moves on the "Strictly Come Dancing" live tour in 2014.

    Blue crooner Simon Webbe and professional dancer, Kristina Rihanoff, came “too close” to winning season 12 of "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2014! The “All Rise” singer placed second alongside the Saturdays musician Frankie Bridge while television presenter Caroline Flack took home the trophy. Webbe then joined the "Strictly Come Dancing" live tour in 2015.

    Lee Ryan

    Webbe’s groupmate Lee Ryan brought Blue back to the ballroom, competing in season 16 of "Strictly Come Dancing", in 2018. The singer, songwriter, and actor was partnered with Nadiya Bychkova; together they two managed to “Rock the Night” in the first two episodes but were eliminated in Week 3. Ryan said the competition helped him quit drinking. “In the past, [I’ve] struggled and gone to rehab, so I've just decided that drink is not good for me,” he said. "Nadiya really helped – she turned around and said, 'You should just knock it on the head.' Everyone has a strand of DNA and mine says, 'I can't have just one.' It's really good for me. It feels like quite a turnaround for my own mentality, which is not just for the show, but for me personally as well."
