Steve Harvey Defends Ellen DeGeneres, Says She's 'One of the Kindest People' in the Business
"Ellen, the person, is probably one of the coolest and kindest people I've met in this business," Steve Harvey told PEOPLE (the TV Show!) In an interview with PEOPLE (the TV Show!) that aired on Thursday, Harvey, 63, said DeGeneres is "one of the coolest and kindest people I've met in this business" as he addressed the recent scandal surrounding The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

During his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday (Sept. 28), the country singer explained how he noticed something else about his hair when his girlfriend-turned-hair styliston The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in April.

"No one cheated. No one did anything. I simply couldn’t get over the past," Ashley Martson explainedMartson announced the news on Saturday, sharing a lengthy statement on social media.
“We were on Jimmy’s show and I think I saw a picture back, and I turned my head to the side at some point, and it was just…. There was no more salt and pepper. It’s just salt,” he laughed. “And so I said, ‘Oh my God, when did this happen to me?'”
Despite limited physical encounters with other people during quarantine, Shelton didn’t realize how often he was appearing on virtual television segments, joking that his hair was making him start to look like a game show host. But DeGeneres reassured Shelton that he will “always be the sexiest man in America to me,” afrom People in 2017.
“So we ordered some Just For Men, and I tried that for a while. And I wasn’t doing it right, and… it had too much color. It was like blue or purple or something,” the “God’s Country” artist recalled. “So then she just said, ‘Let’s just do it right.’ … And I actually really liked it…. I’m not opposed to having her color my hair again. I don’t care. If it makes her happy, I’m cool with it.”
