Barry Weiss’ RECORDS Hires Ash Bowers to Lead New Nashville Office Barry Weiss’ RECORDS is opening an office in Nashville this month, the company announced today (Sept. 21). Ash Bowers will serve as president. Bowers, who co-founded the Nashville-based artist management company Wide Open Music, was previously signed to Broken Bow imprint Stoney Creek Records as a country artist. He also worked as a songwriter and producer, scoring cuts with Matt Stell, Jimmie Allen, Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry and Dustin Lynch. This is Bowers’ first role as a label executive.
