Opinion: Best (and worst) thing about Pacers new coach Nate Bjorkgren? Never heard of him.

Opinion: Best (and worst) thing about Pacers new coach Nate Bjorkgren? Never heard of him. Pacers choose relatively unknown Raptors assistant over a retread (Mike D'Antoni) and a big-timer (Chauncey Billups) to take franchise to next level.Had you heard of Nick Nurse before the Toronto Raptors hired him in 2018? Erik Spoelstra before the Miami Heat hired him in 2008? Gregg Popovich before the San Antonio Spurs hired him in 1996? Me neither. Those hires turned out OK, and even if this one doesn’t — there’s a real chance it won’t — I don’t hate it. Kind of like it, even.

Insider chose the most popular band from every year since 1960, based on multiple factors like Billboard success and Grammys. Bands have always been a huge part of music history, whether it's rock bands , girl bands , boy bands , rap collectives, or a musical duo.

Eva Mendes' six-year Hollywood hiatus may be ending soon.

Mendes, who has taken a break from the big screen since welcoming daughters Esmeralda Amada, 6, and Amada Lee, 4, with Ryan Gosling, hinted at a possible return to acting in a new interview with the Sydney Morning Herald while promoting an upcoming event for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a charity that helped support her cousin’s family during a time of need.

"I feel like, as far as my ambition, it didn’t go away, it just shifted onto the children,” the 46-year-old Hitch star said.

"I applaud and look up to those women who can do it all, but I'm not one of them," Mendes added, "and, thankfully, I have a choice not to work and I realize how fortunate I am that it's even a choice. I've been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I'm starting to feel like my ambition is coming back."

NBA mock draft: Is LaMelo Ball worth the risk as the No. 1 pick?

NBA mock draft: Is LaMelo Ball worth the risk as the No. 1 pick? Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball are the front-runners to be the No. 1 draft pick for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Here's our Round 1 projection.Right now, it's a toss-up for which player will go No. 1 in the draft – unlike last year's consensus No. 1 pick in Zion Williamson. Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball are the front-runners for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The safe pick would be Edwards because he's a surefire impact player right away. Ball is the riskier pick, but the reward could be higher for the team that takes a chance on the heavily hyped Ball brother. NBA evaluators see Ball's ceiling, but they also see question marks.

Current popular music is especially favored by the youth, who often are drawn to what’s new. 24/7 Wall St. has identified the most famous band formed each year from 1957 through 2002 by reviewing online popularity , album sales, and Wikipedia page views for thousands of musical groups.

Here's What Songs Were Popular the Year You Were Born . 1986 was a year of short attention spans, as 30 songs reached Billboard's no. 1 spot, the third-largest number ever. The ones who triumphed for more than a week or two were "That's What Friends Are For" by Dionne Warwick and

Mendes also opened during the interview about raising her two children with Gosling, 39, at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"Sometimes it feels like we are running some kind of bed-and-breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests," she jokingly told the outlet. "We really do feel like we are working in a hotel, and the guests are angry and bossy and demand food brought to them. And by the time they go to sleep, we’re left to just clean up and talk about how they’ve treated us that day!"

Mendes added, "When we feel like we’re just ‘in it,’ like all parents do during these times, we remind ourselves that these are the good times, because we’re all together and we’re all safe right now."

Stevie Nicks Says Her New Single ‘Show Them The Way’ Is ‘A Prayer For Our Country’

Stevie Nicks Says Her New Single ‘Show Them The Way’ Is ‘A Prayer For Our Country’ Stevie Nicks has released a poignant new song that she considers a “prayer” for America during this fraught time in the nation’s history. On Friday, the Fleetwood Mac singer unveiled “Show Them the Way”, a new solo single and accompanying video featuring footage of such inspiring figures as John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and Ruth Bader Ginsberg, juxtaposed with recent footage of Black Lives Matter protests. The song is available in two versions, an acoustic iteration featuring just piano, along with a full-band recording with the Eurythmics' Dave Stewart on guitar and Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl on drums.

The band became even more popular with its two-season comedy show The Monkees. Of all the songs, however, this one made it to No. 1 Whether you were into aerobics or not, everyone wanted to sport a sweatband and leotard after Olivia released this song, just three years after portraying the

While "Look Away" was the most popular song of 1989, it never actually hit number one that year — it hit the top spot for two weeks in December 1988. "The Sign" went nine-times Platinum when all was said and done, and became the first Swedish band top both the Billboard Singles and Billboard

Mendes and Gosling, who began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines, have kept their relationship and children's lives extremely private over the years.

Earlier this month, the mom of two clapped back at an Instagram troll who commented on one of Mendes' post, "You need to tell Ryan to get you out more."

"No thank you, I'm good. Rather be home with my man than anywhere else in the world," Mendes wrote back in an interaction captured by Comments By Celebs.

Mi'kmaq band finds buyer for portion of lobster catch after alleged blacklisting .
HALIFAX — A First Nation in Nova Scotia that was struggling to sell its lobster amid tensions over its self-regulated fishery says it has managed to find a buyer for a portion of its catch. Chief Mike Sack of Sipekne'katik First Nation said today his band had been stuck with about 14,000 pounds of lobster its commercially licensed boats caught in the Bay of Fundy. He estimates the value of the lobster at about $150,000, but last week he said potential buyers feared retaliation if they did business with the band. Sack says the new buyer — who is not being named by the band — won't be purchasing lobster harvested in St.
