During Monday night's live semifinals, two celebrities were eliminated from the ABC reality dancing competition series: Johnny Weir and Skai Jackson.

After performing two dances — first, a judge's redemption dance followed by a choreographed number in the second round — the pro figure skater and actress were sent home.

At the end of the episode, host Tyra Banks announced the three celebrities who would definitely be competing in the season 29 finale — Nelly, Nev Schulman and Kaitlyn Bristowe — before revealing Weir, Jackson and Justina Machado as the bottom three contestants.

Dressed to impress! The stars transformed into their favorite Halloween villains during the Monday, October 26, episode of Dancing With the Stars. While the costumes were all about the fun, the stars took it very seriously — and it paid off. Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson scored the first perfect score of the season with their dramatic paso doble, set to the theme song from Black Swan. However, they weren’t the only ones that impressed the judges over the course of the evening. After Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart landed lower than average scores last week, they were determined to get it back up this week — and did just that. “It was passionate and it was fluid,” Bruno Tonioli said after their Viennese waltz. Carrie Ann Inaba said that the pair floated through the routine “like a dream.” The rave reviews landed the pair three 9s. Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko also impressed the judges, with Derek Hough calling their spooky paso doble their “best dance yet.” They earned two 9s and an 8 for their dance — their highest score this season. One pair that many were waiting for ahead of the episode was AJ McLean and Cheryl Burke. During their Sunday, October 25, rehearsal, the 36-year-old professional dancer fell hard and hit her head. “Yesterday, I took a hard fall while rehearsing for #VillainsNight. Even though AJ kills me at the end of this Tango, this wasn’t part of the routine,” the two-time winner revealed via Instagram on Monday.

But Juan Pablo’s elimination was a total shock. Juan Pablo and his partner, Cheryl Burke, were the highest-scoring couple throughout the season . After the couple performed a flawless salsa, head judge Len Goodman said, “If you’re not in the final , I’m going to go home and pickle me walnuts.”

Out of the remaining trio, the couple with the lowest combined total of judges' scores and viewers' votes was Weir, who was at the very bottom and the first to be eliminated.

"You know how hard they have worked. You guys have worked so hard this season. It's so sad to see you go," Banks said about Weir, 36, and pro partner Britt Stewart, who earned a 27/30 for their salsa and later a 30/30 for their jazz.

Following Weir's elimination, Machado and Jackson joined Banks, 46, on the dance floor, where it was up to the judges to save one of the actresses. Ultimately, both Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba chose to save Machado, 48, to proceed to the finale.

Dancing With the Stars will be twirling back into living rooms on Monday, and celebrity contestant Skai Jackson says production is working hard to ensure the This season , Tyra Banks, who is known to serve face herself, will be hosting DWTS and Jackson wants her to know she will be ready to face-off

Though Bruno Tonioli wasn't needed to break a divided vote, he said: "I agree with my colleagues. We have to base our judgement over the season, and I agree with them. I love you both."

Jackson, 18, and Alan Bersten earned a 27/30 for their cha cha and a 30/30 for their Viennese waltz.

During Monday's episode, Banks also teased what audiences can expect to see on the finale episode, including a dance from Hough.

"We've got the freestyles, we are crowing a new champion, we've got a spectacular dance performance by Derek Hough," said Banks. "Plus, whether Nelly stays in this competition or not, Nelly will be performing some of his greatest hits in this ballroom."

The Dancing with the Stars finale airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
