Spike Lee thinks some of Donald Trump ’ s recent rhetoric is similar to Nazism. Lee made the comparisons in an interview with The Daily Beast when asked about Trump ’ s immigration policies. “He wants to close down mosques now. That’s like the Nazis,” Lee said .

While the awards weren't shown until Sunday, the acceptance speech was pre-recorded on Jan. 6--the same day as the Capitol attack.
