Yep Endgame 's first run actually beat Avatars first run. Endgame beating Avatar with a re-release is totally fair and square since Avatar also got a re-release. People want happy/bittersweet endings. Infinity War will probably be my favorite Marvel film (aside from the original Guardians of the Galaxy) for a very, very long time, but I'm still glad that Endgame ended up on top. Honestly a fucking incredible achievement that took years of patience, and planning, and finally worked out.
