In an interview with The Independent, Coon looked back at playing Margo "Go" Dunne in David Fincher's 2013 movie "Gone Girl". Margo was the twin sister of Ben Affleck's Ben Dunne.
She also named other movies where she doesn't like to watch herself.

Gallery: All The Reasons We Love Brendan Fraser (ET Canada)
He Has Canadian Roots
We Canadians love cheering on our own. Fraser was born in Indiana to a pair of Canadians and holds dual citizenship. With a dad serving as a Canadian foreign service officer for the Government Office of Tourism, the Fraser family moved around often with stints in Ottawa and Toronto where Fraser attended Upper Canada College. And he speaks French! So yes, his role as Mountie "Dudley Do-Right" was a nod to his Canuck roots.
Everyone Really Loves ‘The Mummy’
Back in March 2021, Fraser’s 1999 action movie “The Mummy” was trending on Twitter leading fans to share why the film is such an iconic one. “Brendan Fraser was really just the whole package. Not only shockingly handsome, tall, well built and somehow not bland at the same time, but also full of charisma, natural and able to both seem vulnerable and throw a punch,” wrote one fan in a lengthy thread about how he is “smooth as a marble slab.” We bet the 2017 Tom Cruise reboot of “The Mummy” failed to deliver because it was missing the best part of the franchise: Brendan Fraser.
No, Really. We Love ‘The Mummy’
We cannot confirm nor deny this is our car, but it could be.
He’s Humbled By His Fan Support
We were already on board the Fraser train and when one fan told him just how beloved he truly is. “The internet is so behind you! We’re so supportive. There are so many people out there who love you, and we’re rooting for you, and we can’t wait to see what you do next” a fan shared during a virtual meet and greet. The actor got choked up, replying, “Shucks, ma’am.” His earnest and emotional response only made fans love him more, making his name trend on Twitter once again.
He’s An Animal Lover
Living on a farm in upstate New York, Fraser has several animals, including a horse named Pecas whom he rescued after meeting him on the set of History Channel’s “Texas Rising”. After filming, Fraser brought the “big horse” who was subject to bullying from other horses home with him, according to GQ. “I saw him get kicked so many times, bit by other horses all the time. And I never saw him fight back,” he said of the gentle giant who also serves as a companion for Fraser's eldest son Griffin, who is on the autism spectrum. “There's something good that happens between the two of them. And even if he doesn't ride him, just give him a brush. The horse loves it, the repetitive motion that kids on the spectrum have that they love. And it just works… You know, you have to find those tools, strategies. If I ride, too, I just feel better. I just feel better.”
He Can Act Opposite Cartoons Better Than Anyone
“Looney Tunes: Back In Action” is a meta masterpiece with Fraser playing an actor who just happens to be a stuntman for Brendan Fraser. Tom Cruise could never.
His Co-Stars Love Him Too
Fraser’s “George Of The Jungle” co-star Leslie Mann admitted she was still smitten with the actor more than 20 years after the movie hit theatres. “I was supposed to fall in love with him and so I just fell in love with him in real life,” she said on “Busy Tonight” in 2019 where Fraser surprised her with a bouquet of flowers for a mini-reunion. “I was like, 'Judd [Apatow, her husband], I love Brendan.’ And he was like, ‘I know. Stop it.'”
He’s The Action Hero We Deserve
Yeah, the "Mummy” franchise is great and all but definitely don’t sleep on 2008’s “Journey To The Center Of The Earth".
He’s An Accomplished Photographer
As if his acting resume wasn’t enough, the father of three sons is also an avid amateur photographer with a penchant for instant cameras. In fact, the Collector's Guide to Instant Cameras book has a dedication to him. Some of his older low-fi photographs from his film and TV sets can be seen on his website, including behind-the-scenes pics of “The Quiet American” and travels in Morocco and Vietnam.
“I’m one of the actors who feels like I should watch myself ‘cause that’s how my habits are revealed to me,” she said. “But when I watch 'Gone Girl', all I can see is myself making faces. I think I can note my improvement as 'The Leftovers' goes on — I think I get better — but I find my performance in 'Gone Girl' horrific to watch.”

While she felt her performance was "horrific", Coon said she learned a lot working with Fincher and Affleck.
“There was actually a lot of language about being on a set and working on camera that I didn’t know. I had David and Ben teaching me about why they were doing what they were doing, when I had to be still, and how much food to eat on camera when you’re gonna do 80 takes,” she said.

Thankfully, Coon does have projects she is pleased with including "The Post" and "Avengers: Infinity War".
“It’s funny ‘cause it feels at once very quick but, at the same time, slow and steady,” she said of her career. “I feel so fortunate. I have an IMDb page that I’m really proud of; I don’t have a lot of duds in there.”
