  John Skipper & Dan Le Batard’s Meadowlark Media Inks First-Look Deal With Apple TV+ Former ESPN colleagues John Skipper and Dan Le Batard (Highly Questionable, The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz) are getting into business with Apple TV+. Skipper and Le Batard have signed a multi-year first-look deal with the Apple streaming service via their recently launched Meadowlark Media. Under the pact, Meadowlark will produce premium documentary films and unscripted series for Apple TV+. In January, Skipper and Le Batard announced the formation of Meadowlark, a new content company with a creator-centric point of view. Meadowlark will partner with industry-leading storytellers on a variety of content projects with an initial focus on sports.

EXCLUSIVE: The Ernest Hemingway estate has inked with Gersh for representation as the agency will look to explore opportunities for the author’s work across film, TV and digital media.

Although Prince Charles has sold his estate in southwest England already 27 years ago, but he still reserves the right to fish there; Owners of the surrounding national park is the Duchy of Cornwall. The 3.6 hectare plot itself is now on the market for the first time since the Prince of Wales has separated from Wales in the 1990s. Listed is for 4.95 million pounds .

Hemingway’s writing was awarded both the Nobel Prize in Literature and Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. His canon includes such classics as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms, The Old Man and the Sea, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and A Moveable Feast, all of which continue to sell millions of copies around the globe annually, and many of which have adapted for the stage and screen. Ken Burns recently made the documentary Hemingway capturing the author’s life and iconic status as cultural touchstone.

Born in Oak Park, Ill, Hemingway began his career as a journalist at the age of 17. From there he would serve in the First World War, became a member of the 1920s ex-pats in Paris known as the Lost Generation, and reported from the front lines of the Spanish Civil war and World War II. He was also an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, all of which factored into his writing.
