  Reese Witherspoon Says She Feels Fear in Her Life 'All the Time' Even Reese Witherspoon has moments of fear and doubt, but the actress says she’s come up with a way to combat those bad feelings when they bubble up. “I see [fear] as this little creature that lives in my life all the time, and I can either pay it attention and not get anything done or I can march ahead and ignore it,” the A Wrinkle in Time star told Marie Clairefor its March 2018 issue. “Sometimes I just have to jump two feet into a cold pool and go, ‘OK, I believe in myself enough, I know I work hard. I know I can always bet on myself,'” she added. Witherspoon, who recently revealed in an emotional speech that she was sexually assaulted by a director at 16, also spoke about the women’s movement currently sweeping Hollywood and beyond. “It shouldn’t just be about financial success,” she said. “We should have as many opportunities to fail as we do succeed. Because artistry is not about succeeding always. It’s about having the courage to try and put out into the world new ideas.” Including her highly anticipated role in A Wrinkle in Time, Witherspoon has 23 projects in the works in 2018. “I’m excited about the project with Jen Aniston,” she said. The series will be one of the first shows produced by Apple, and both actresses are also serving as producers. “It’s a show about women in media – the morning news in particular,” she added.

Perrette, who is best-known for her role on “NCIS,” told Fox 11 that she is “afraid to go out” now that her life is “forever changed” after being attacked by a homeless man in her L.A. neighborhood in 2015.

“I'm afraid the next word I hear about this guy is that he's killed a female,” the 48-year-old told the news site.

LAPD is aware that the transient, named David Merck, has been released from the state facility and will respond to any reports of an alleged crime, acccording to Fox 11.

In November 2015, Perrette detailed how Merck attacked her on her own street in Hollywood Hills.

“So, tonight was awful, life changing and I'm only grateful to be alive,” she wrote on Twitter, sharing a lengthy post describing the attack.

“He grabbed me so forcefully, pinned my arm, punched me in the nose, forehead repeatedly telling me he was going to kill me," she tweeted. "Then he showed me how he was going to kill me. He kept repeating his name: 'WILLIAM — DON'T FORGET THAT! I'm going to kill you.”

He then proceeded to hit her before saying “get the ---k out of here,” Perrette recalled.

“I went into shock,” she said. “Collapsed on the sidewalk.”

It turned out the man who called himself "William" was actually Merck, and he was arrested by Los Angeles cops and charged with felony assault.
