Indigenous man kicked out of McDonald's after racist confrontation says he feels lucky to be alive An Indigenous man who says he was ordered to leave a Red Deer McDonald's after a racist encounter with another customer says he's speaking out about the incident because he feels lucky to be alive. "I spoke up because I'm alive, because not everyone is at the end of these things, and I want to give my people a better chance," said Zack Running Coyote.

The unnamed gentleman, who ordered a hamburger and fries through the meal delivery service, was reportedly “irate” when his food arrived cold, Hamilton police spokesperson Jackie Penman told CBC.

Though it wasn’t clear exactly who was to blame for the cold food, police who arrived at the scene reminded the dissatisfied customer that receiving a lukewarm burger and fries was no reason to call emergency services. “The [911] system is meant for life and death emergencies,” Penman clarified to the outlet, noting calls of this nature are more common than people think.

Man calls 911 over cold burger and fries from Hamilton McDonald's: police

Man calls 911 over cold burger and fries from Hamilton McDonald's: police Hamilton police are reminding the public that even a very unhappy meal at McDonald's is no reason to call 911. Officers were called to a McDonald's in the city Sunday by an "irate" customer who received a cold hamburger and fries after ordering them through Uber Eats, according to service spokesperson Jackie Penman.

In fact, just last month, an 12-year-old boy in Nova Scotia, Canada, called police not once, but twice, after his parents served him a salad he didn’t like for dinner.

“Calling 911 with nuisance calls ties up our lines and makes it difficult for people with serious emergencies to get through to dispatchers,” Penman added.

While frivolously calling 911 is no laughing matter, Twitter couldn’t help but have a little pun-centric fun with this crazy story. Check out some of the reactions below:

Toss him in the Patty Wagon.

After you've grilled him long enough, he'll flip.
