One little boy in Arizona thought he had a super-sized problem and called 911 about it.

Charlie Skabelund, 5, really wanted a happy meal, so he phoned in his order to the police. As the officer asked what the emergency was, the child ordered a Happy Meal.

“We were completely surprised and a little embarrassed,” his mom told Inside Edition.

Charlie's parents, Kim and Randy, were stunned when police called them to report Charlie’s 911 call.

“He was asking me if I was McDonald’s and if he could get a Happy Meal,” the operator told the shocked parents. “We'll probably still have an officer head out there for a welfare check.”

Charlie’s father insisted they didn’t need to send anyone and apologized.

However, an officer did arrive and Charlie was in for a big treat.

“He said, ‘I brought you a Happy Meal but before I give it to you we need to talk about the right time to call 911,’” his mom recalled. “Officer Valdez was wonderful. He handled the situation with such love and kindness and really touched our hearts.”

Charlie has indeed learned his lesson and says the next time he wants a Happy Meal, he will just ask mom.
