TMZ Sports released a video Friday afternoon of Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt shoving and kicking a woman back in February of this year.

Reports of the incident emerged in February, via Cleveland.com:

A Middleburg Heights woman told police that Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt “shoved and pushed” her in a weekend dispute at The Metropolitan at the 9 in downtown Cleveland, according to a police report.

According to the report, Hunt was never arrested or charged for the incident.

Back in early August, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said he did not anticipate the league would suspend Kareem, but as we have seen with these situations in the past, video providing visible evidence of wrongdoing can change that.

The belief among reporters is that the Chiefs found out about the video when TMZ Sports released it. They have yet to release a statement.

The Cleveland Division of Police has launched an internal investigation into how the department responded to the February incident involving former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, according to ESPN's Michael Rothstein. The police announced the investigation Wednesday evening, stating that part of the probe involves looking into how the NFL obtained Hunt's police report without officially filing a records request. "Following an internal review, it has been determined that in February 2018 a member of the Cleveland Division of Police provided a copy of the police report involving the Feb.
