Durant apologizes for 'distraction' of Game 1 ejection Forward Kevin Durant is asking for forgiveness following his ejection from the Golden State Warriors' Game 1 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. "I don't want to disappoint my coaches and the fan base and owners who expect me to be out on the floor, so I apologize - for being thrown out the game," he said Monday, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. Durant was given his marching orders with 4:41 left in the game after a squabble with Clippers guard Patrick Beverley. The two players came face to face after Beverley fell in front of the scorer's table while battling Durant for a loose ball. Durant and Patrick Beverley both ejected pic.twitter.

Ozzie Albies 's Contract Extension Is Insultingly Low. The Braves extended another one of their young stars for many years and for pennies on the dollar. While it's a good business decision, it's an egregiously small deal for a player such as Ozzie Albies .

Cincinnati Reds analyst Chris Welsh apologized to Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies for criticizing his new contract during a television broadcast on Wednesday.

Welsh didn't disclose what he discussed with the 22-year-old All-Star, choosing to keep the conversation between the two, John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

During the broadcast, Welsh questioned if Albies knew the difference between $35 million and $85 million.

The comment didn't sit well with fans, as many believed Welsh was suggesting Albies literally didn't understand the difference in value between the two amounts.

The Braves signed him to a seven-year, $35-million extension earlier this month, and the deal was criticized as one of the most team-friendly in MLB history. However, Albies revealed it wasn't all about the money, saying "I want my family to be safe."

Albies was hitting .276/.343/.429 with three home runs coming into Thursday's game against the Reds. He hit 24 round-trippers with 72 RBIs in his first full season in the majors in 2018.

Jason Momoa apologizes for overshadowing Mueller report release.

The "Aquaman" star appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for the first time recently and she teased him about making big news. DeGeneres told him that his shaving his beard was "over trending" on the same day when the highly-anticipated report on the investigation into possible Russian interference was released. <br _moz_dirty="" /> "Yeah, sorry about that," Momoa said. "That was an accident.
