Doug Baldwin alluded to the report about his potential retirement in some funny tweets sent on Sunday afternoon. On Friday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that multiple injuries could end Baldwin’s career prematurely. The report was shared in the context of the Seahawks drafting wide receiver prospect DK Metcalf in the second round, and two other receivers in later rounds. Here’s what Baldwin tweeted on Sunday. Though Doug Baldwin's contract termination last week officially ended his tenure in Seattle, we still needed to hear it from the man himself before we accepted that he was throwing in the towel on a career in the NFL.
