Tiger's yacht docks in New York ahead of PGA Championship

Tiger's yacht docks in New York ahead of PGA Championship Tiger Woods' accommodation for the PGA Championship has put down its anchor. The wealthiest golfer of all time docked his $20-million yacht named "Privacy" in Oyster Bay, N.Y. on Wednesday, according to MarineTraffic.com. “I don’t know if he’s here, but that’s his boat,” a worker at Oyster Bay Marine Center told Golf.com. “I really don’t know too much, but I know it’s (Tiger's boat).” Woods will presumably stay in his luxury vessel during the PGA Championship in two weeks, leaving him only a 25-minute drive to the tournament's venue, Bethpage Black. The 15-time major winner also docked his yacht near last year's U.S.

Daly's cart request for Open Championship still under consideration.
John Daly's request to use a cart at the upcoming Open Championship in July is still being decided upon by the R&A. "We have received a request from John Daly for permission to use a buggy at The Open and it is currently under consideration," the R&A said, according to Golf.com's Josh Berhow. If allowed, Daly would become the first-ever player to use a cart in the history of the Open Championship. The 53-year-old rode a cart during his missed cut at the PGA Championship last week, citing osteoarthritis in his right knee as the reason for needing to use one. He rides when playing in Champions Tour events as well.
