Shop owner drove 10 hours to hand-deliver Dell Curry jersey to Drake Tracking down a vintage Dell Curry Toronto Raptors jersey was no easy task for Drake. Action Network's Darren Rovell shared the story Friday how Drake was able to pull off the ultimate troll move against the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and it involved some begging and a 10-hour drive from New York to Toronto. Al Martiniello, the owner of "Select Vintage" in Brooklyn, received a call Tuesday at 1 a.m. ET from Drake's stylist asking if he had a Dell Raptors jersey. He didn't, but his friend Evan Flores was able to track down an autographed one a few hours later.

A New York Yankees road jersey worn by Babe Ruth sold for $5,640,000 on Saturday, setting a record for the most expensive piece of sports memorabilia ever sold, according to a press release from Hunt Auctions.

"The legacy and significance of Babe Ruth to the game of baseball and American popular culture is unmatched by any other figure in the history of this country," president of Hunt Auctions David Hunt said. "We were completely humbled for this opportunity afforded to our company by the Ruth family to present this previously unknown archive of materials to Babe's adoring fans. While the record-setting prices attained today are certainly astonishing I am not surprised at all given the incredible materials and the mythical status the Babe holds in the history of this country."

A rare game-worn New York Yankees jersey used by Babe Ruth could set a new world record for a sports memorabilia item with a potential selling “The scarcity and desirability of this particular Babe Ruth jersey simply cannot be overstated," Hunt Auctions president David Hunt said in a statement

The jersey, which dates back to the 1928-30 period, was from the Great Bambino's private family collection. It was auctioned off at Yankee Stadium on Saturday along with other items related to the legendary slugger and was previously owned by a private collector, who wished to remain anonymous.

SGC, a top card grading and game-worn uniform authentication service, recently called the jersey one of the most valuable pieces of sports memorabilia available.

The sale broke a previous record of more than $4.4 million for a different Ruth jersey sold in 2012.

Steph Curry sets record straight on how he handled NBA Finals loss.
Steph Curry had to issue a correction to a media outlet after they got a quote of his wrong regarding the way he handled the Golden State Warriors’ NBA Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors. Curry’s Warriors lost in Game 6 of the NBA Finals at home at Oracle Arena. Even though his season had ended in disappointment, he didn’t sulk afterwards. Instead, he and his team of people (e.g. family, agents) gathered at his house. Complex Sports shared a quote about that from an interview they did with Curry and got it confused, saying the Warriors as a team celebrated at Curry’s house.
