Defending Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic believes the new era of tennis talent is coming.

The 15-time Grand Slam champion just doesn't think it's here yet.

“Don’t ask me more questions about young tennis players, when is their time to come up because we’ve talked about it," Djokovic told reporters Wednesday after defeating David Goffin to reach the Wimbledon semifinals. “I said that eventually is going to happen. It doesn’t seem like it’s happening on Grand Slams.”

All four Wimbledon semifinalists are older than 30: Djokovic, 32, Roger Federer, 37, Rafael Nadal, 33, and Roberto Bautista Agut, 31. Tennis' Big Three for the last decade-plus — Djokovic, Federer and Nadal — have 53 Grand Slam singles titles among them.

“I’m just glad to be one of the guys who is 30-plus and to be still in that group," Djokovic said.

“I guess this is where, especially Nadal, Federer, and myself, in a way we go onto next level in terms of tennis and focus. We’re very dedicated to these tournaments. In particular, at this stage of all of our careers, this is what matters the most for us."
