Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma will not play in Tuesday's regular-season opener against the LA Clippers, the team announced Sunday. Head coach Frank Vogel said he's unsure when Kuzma will be ready to suit up.

"Right now, we're just talking about ramping up his activity, and we're not going to look past two days from now," Vogel said. "We're going to try to increase his workload and activities this week, and we'll see where we're at."

Kuzma didn't play in the preseason and has been limited throughout Lakers camp after suffering a left foot stress reaction during USA Basketball's August training camp.

Vogel wouldn't commit Sunday to a starting lineup for opening night, but Davis, LeBron James, and JaVale McGee will likely start in the frontcourt.

Report: George to make Clippers debut in mid-November .
Paul George will be ready to make his Los Angeles Clippers debut in approximately three weeks, league sources told Yahoo's Chris Haynes. George has been sidelined as he continues to recover from offseason shoulder surgery. Wednesday's news lines up with his previous estimate of a "November-ish" return to action. The Clippers got light production from their starting lineup outside of Kawhi Leonard in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Lakers. Leonard was the only starter to score in double digits, with Patrick Patterson starting at the other forward spot.
