Tom Brady says he has not liked the Cowboys 'since coming out of the womb'

Tom Brady says he has not liked the Cowboys 'since coming out of the womb' Brady grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the midst of the 49ers-Cowboys rivalry, and it’s safe to say that old allegiances don’t go away easily. Brady, who grew up a 49ers fan, jokingly admitted Wednesday that he has not liked the Cowboys “since coming out of the womb” and growing up in San Francisco.Tom Brady: “I’ve really not liked the Cowboys since coming out of the womb …” pic.twitter.com/Cvi2E08dqO— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) November 20, 2019The Patriots and Cowboys face off Sunday afternoon.

" We ' re learning as we go." Brady noted the obvious: Despite the consternation regarding the dynastic Patriots, the world is not imploding. And yet Brady knows his offense isn't playing at a level consummate with that record. The Pats have been dragged to 10 - 2 by the defense and special teams.

Tom Brady is trying to keep things in perspective following the New England Patriots' loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday night.

The defeat was the Patriots' second in four games. Though it may seem to some like the sky is suddenly falling in Foxborough, Brady won't allow for such an attitude.

"It's not always going to be perfect. Football's not a game of perfect, it's just got to be a game of pretty good. We're learning as we go. We're not 2-10, we're 10-2," Brady said Monday on "The Greg Hill Show" on WEEI 93.7 FM.

New England began the year 8-0, but the offense - with its constantly changing personnel - appears to be struggling of late. Brady appeared to be imploring his receivers to be "faster, quicker, more explosive" with his team trailing the Texans.

Despite Sunday's loss, the Patriots share the best record in the AFC, lead their division, and remain on track to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs.

"I know there's very high expectations, at least there are for us. I think the expectations for our team often are a very, very, very high level and I understand that," Brady said. "But at the same time, I think there are realistic expectations with our circumstances and incorporating different elements and players and injuries and, again, we're just trying to do the best that we can do."

He added: "We've just got to figure out how to be more consistent, just figure out how to stay on track, get the ball in in the red area, just do a little bit better job, put us in a better position to win."

Brady's right elbow injury doesn't sound good .
It sounds like Tom Brady's right elbow injury wasn't just a tactic by the New England Patriots to psych out the Dallas Cowboys. Brady, who will play today despite being listed as questionable due to an elbow injury, was unable to finish practice on Friday, with backup Jarrett Stidham taking most of the reps afterwards.
