Report: White Sox, Cishek agree to 1-year, $6M deal
The Chicago White Sox have agreed to a one-year, $6-million deal with relief pitcher Steve Cishek, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. The contract comes with a club option worth $6.75 million for 2021 that includes a $750,000 buyout, reports MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. Cishek spent the past two seasons with the Chicago Cubs, authoring a 2.55 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP in 150 appearances. Over the course of his 10-year career, Cishek is 32-37 with a 2.69 ERA, 3.22 FIP, and a 1.15 WHIP in 572 appearances.The 33-year-old veteran right-hander joins a White Sox team that's been busy this offseason.

Report: Angels discussed Clevinger trade with Indians
The Los Angeles Angels have discussed a potential trade with the Cleveland Indians for right-hander Mike Clevinger, sources told Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com. Trade talks failed to gain momentum, however, when Cleveland asked for top prospect Jo Adell in exchange, Morosi added. Clevinger, 29, was drafted by the Angels in 2011. He was traded to the Indians in a deal for Vinnie Pestano during the 2014 season. The 20-year-old Adell is the No. 5 overall prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. The outfielder hit .289/.359/.475 with 10 homers and 27 doubles in 76 games across three different minor-league levels last year.
