UFC president Dana White is adamant that Conor McGregor's next fight will be for the lightweight title and says a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov would be massive for the company.

The undefeated Russian is scheduled to meet No. 1 contender Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 on April 18 in Brooklyn.

McGregor said before his clash with Cerrone that he wants the Nurmagomedov rematch, but he's also targeting welterweight bouts against champion Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal.
