James took his fellow Lakers All-Star with the No. 1 overall pick of the Feb. 16 game’s draft on Thursday, as he matched wits with fellow captain Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks for the second consecutive year. James is looking to go 3-0 as an All-Star captain, after his team beat the one picked by Golden State’s Stephen Curry in 2018 and topped the one Antetokounmpo selected last year as well. James had the No. 1 overall pick for this year’s first round, the starters’ round — since he received the most overall votes from fans.

A Maryland charitable organization has filed a lawsuit in D.C. federal court against LeBron James' Uninterrupted brand and three other companies, including Nike and Disney, over their use of Uninterrupted's "I Am More Than An Athlete" slogan.

Game Plan Inc. says it filed an application for U.S. trademark registration of the term in 2016, with the mark registered on June 5, 2018. Uninterrupted began using the slogan in early 2018 after FOX News host Laura Ingraham criticized James' political views and derisively told him on a broadcast to "shut up and dribble."

CHICAGO: Players were taking charges, bodies were hitting the floor, calls and non-calls were being screamed about on both ends. The fourth quarter of the NBA All-Star Game was as intense as the final moments of a playoff game, the biggest stars in the league holding absolutely nothing back. And in the end, Anthony Davis was a hometown hero by making a free throw.Kobe Bryant - ever the competitor - would have simply loved the way this night went.''That was pretty damn fun,'' a sweat-soaked, exhausted LeBron James said at the end.
