Higuain struggled to replicate his success in Turin and was eventually loaned to Milan and Chelsea. He was given a chance to revive his Juve career last season and ended the 2019-20 campaign by winning his third Scudetto.

Higuain's older brother, Federico, plays in MLS with D.C. United.

Meanwhile, Juventus have been heavily linked with Roma forward Edin Dzeko, whose arrival at the Allianz Stadium is reportedly dependent on the Giallorossi signing Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli.
