Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley was arrested Saturday in suburban Minneapolis, according to Hennepin County arrest records.

The charges are for marijuana possession and receiving and concealing stolen property, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Jon Krawczynski. The 23-year-old is reportedly being held without bail until he sees a judge.

"We are aware of the situation involving Malik Beasley and are in the process of gathering information at this time," the Timberwolves said in a statement.

Beasley was not part of the Wolves' five-on-five group practices last week, but participated in individual workouts. The No. 19 pick in the 2016 draft is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason after being acquired from the Denver Nuggets last February.

He averaged 21 points in 14 games for Minnesota this season.
