Jessica Alba Talks Breaking Down In Tears After Finding Out Her 12-Year-Old Daughter Had Grown Taller Than Her
Jessica Alba’s daughter is growing up. Alba, 39, and her husband Cash Warren, 41, welcomed Honor, 12, in June 2008, just one month after they tied the knot. They also share daughter Haven Garner, 9, and son Hayes Alba, 2. Alba previously posted photos of herself crying after revealing Honor was taller than her. And she said during an interview with SiriusXM's "The Highway": "My friend was over and he took the photo and he was like, 'no, no, no, she's taller.' He was like, 'Honor, you're taller than your mom.' I was like, 'no, no, she's not.
Basketball Bundesliga team Alba Berlin started the new season with a defeat. At the start of the Euroleague, the Berliners lost to the Israeli top team Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv after a good start with 73:80 (41:49). Since there is currently a lockdown in Israel due to the corona pandemic, the game took place without a spectator. The best throwers from Berlin were Marcus Eriksson with 18 and Simone Fontecchio with 16 points.
coach Aito Garcia Reneses was able to compete with the best line-up. And the Berliners got off to a very good start. Because they immediately found their throwing rhythm. Especially Eriksson and newcomer Fontecchio were on target in the first quarter. Since the defense also worked, Alba pulled away to 31:19 at the beginning of the second quarter.
Barry Weiss’ RECORDS Hires Ash Bowers to Lead New Nashville Office
Barry Weiss’ RECORDS is opening an office in Nashville this month, the company announced today (Sept. 21). Ash Bowers will serve as president. Bowers, who co-founded the Nashville-based artist management company Wide Open Music, was previously signed to Broken Bow imprint Stoney Creek Records as a country artist. He also worked as a songwriter and producer, scoring cuts with Matt Stell, Jimmie Allen, Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry and Dustin Lynch. This is Bowers’ first role as a label executive.
But then Maccabi woke up and then hit back with a 25-2 run. The Berliners did not hit many open litters. Maccabi also defended more intensely and hardly allowed any easy throwing positions. Alba, on the other hand, lost access defensively. At times the Alba defense fell completely apart. They especially couldn't cope with the athleticism of the hosts.
However, the Berliners caught up again and fought their way back to two points after the break (47:49). The guests acted at eye level again. However, they failed to take the lead again several times. Alba had problems especially under the basket and too often gave Maccabi a second chance. In the final quarter, the Berliners tried everything again, but in the end gave too many litters to cause a surprise.
