The Ligue 1 outfit ended negotiations with Arsenal over a potential transfer because the Gunners refused to improve their bid to €50 million, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain expressed interest in signing Aouar as well, RMC Sport's Mohamed Bouhafsi reports.
However, neither club pushed to complete a deal.

Lyon star Houssem Aouar explained his decision to snub interest from across Europe, insisting he has unfinished business at the Ligue 1 club. Aouar was tipped to join Premier League side Arsenal , while the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus , Manchester City and Real Madrid were also linked.
