The SPD politician Christoph Bratmann wants to become the new president of Eintracht Braunschweig. The second division soccer team announced on Wednesday. Bratmann will run for the successor to Sebastian Ebel at the annual general meeting on November 13th. The election committee unanimously proposed the 51-year-old as a candidate for election at its meeting on Tuesday evening. Bratmann has been Vice President of the registered association so far. "The commitment I entered into for Eintracht in 2019 is long-term, but I will only hold the office of President until the annual general meeting in 2021 and then make a new decision," said Bratmann.
